"Suelo pensar a veces en la misteriosa forma que tienen las imágenes de
colarse con tozuda insistencia en la mente de la gente creativa, más aun
en nuestras voluntades. Por lo menos a mí me ocurre así.
Son imágenes ya formadas con una madurez que me asombra, sólo hace falta dejarse llevar al dictado.
No siempre pasa así, claro, pero cuando ocurre una tiene la obligación de ir hasta el final, de materializar la imagen. Si no, esta languidece o por el contrario te acicatea en progresión logaritmica, como un bebé que quiere nacer cuanto antes porque hace tiempo que ha salido de cuentas.
Así han surgido La Nueva Nefer , Nemesis, Venus-Urania, y tantas otras obras.
Tal vez los artistas sólo seamos intermediarios, tal y como dijo Bacon. Intermediarios.... pero de qué? Supongo que de la Creatividad, esa creatividad que te otorga algunas libertades y te somete a otras tantas tiranias."
